10/38 to 09/60, 20 MU, equipment and aircraft storage and preparing aircraft for service.
08/39 to 02/41, 12 Group Pool, later renamed No. 5 OTU and again as No. 55 OTU training Hurricane and Blenheim pilots.
??/41 to 01/53, Air Transport Auxiliary No 2 Ferry Pool, became 187 Sqn and moved to Benson.
08/41 to 08/43, 52 OTU moved here from Debden training day fighter pilots.
08/43 to 01/44, Fighter Leader School from Charmy Down with Spitfires.
??/44 to 06/45, No 3 Tactical Excersise Unit from Annan training ground attack pilots. 12/44 Renamed 55 OTU.
Hangars later used by 5 Maintenance Unit from Kemble and airfield used as an RLG by CFS.
