Here
are some photos I found among my Dad's belongings. He was Lt John "Jack"
Yavis and was a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress pilot with the 323rd
BS, 91st
BG, stationed at Bassingbourn from August 1944 to April 1945, he flew
52 combat missions.
