01/44 to 08/44, 30th Photographic Squadron of the 10th Photographic Reconnaissance Group with F-5 Lightnings, 05/44, 30th PS moved to Middle Wallop. 04/44, 31st, 33rd and 34th Photo Recce Sqns operational at Chalgrove, moved to France.
05/44 to 08/44, 423rd Night Fighter Squadron with A-20 Havocs from Charmy Down, used for night photo recce the Havocs were redesignated F-3A's. 06/44 renamed 155th Reconnaissance Squadron.
06/44 to 08/44, 15th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron from Middle Wallop with F-6 Mustangs,
moved to France.
09/44 to 03/45, IX Troop Carrier Command Pathfinder Group (Provisional) from North Witham, moved to France.
08/45 to 11/45, 653rd BS of the 25th BG with weather recce Mosquitos.
03/45 to 12/45, 13th, 14th and 22nd PR Squadrons of the 7th Photographic Group (R) with F-6 Mustangs from Mount Farm, airfield then de-activated.
07/46 to 10/46, RAF No. 8 OTU with PR Spitfires and Mosquitos training photo-recce pilots and navigators.
07/1946, Airfield leased to Martin-Baker for development and testing of ejection seats.
