10/43 to 07/45, 612th, 613th, 614th, 615th Bombardment Squadrons of the 401st Bombardment Group (Heavy), flew 255 combat missions from here losing 95 B-17's, returned to the USA.
06/45 to 06/46, No. 11 Recruitment Centre.
Used for many years by the Royal Observer Corps.
