06/40 to 1957, No. 18 Maintenance Unit formed here and operated until
07/40 to 08/45, No. 10 Bombing and Gunnery School from Warmwell with Battles, Henleys, Harrows and Seals. 09/41, Renamed No. 10 Air Observer School, and again 04/42, becoming No. 10 (Observer) Advanced Flying Unit.
07/45, Renamed again as No. 10 Air Navigation School and moved to Chipping Warden.
Auxiliary landing ground used at Winterseugh (Annan).
