Airfield then closed and rebuilt with concrete runways. 5/44 to 6/45, 1692 Flight, bomber support training unit, with Anson, Beaufighter, Mosquito, Oxford and Wellington. 6/44 to 8/45, 169 Sqn Mosquitos from Little Snoring. 8/45, Transferred to Fighter Command and used as a satellite for West Raynham and hangars used for storage. |
