10/41 to 01/42, 74 Sqn Spitfires on convoy patrols. 02/42 to 03/42, 131 Sqn Spitfires from Atcham. 05/42 to 08/42, 232 Sqn. 08/42 to 09/42, P-38 Lightnings from the 14th FG at Atcham detached here. Airfield now used as an Armament Practice Camp and used by many RAF and USAAF Squadrons until the end of the war. |
