07/1941 to 05/1943, No. 53 Operational Training Unit from Heston with Master and Spitfire aircraft training fighter pilots, moved to Kirton-in-Lindsey.
07/1943 to 08/1945, No. 3 Overseas Aircraft Preparation Unit, RAF Transport Command, moved to Dunkeswell.
08/1947 to /1957, No. 614 Squadron reformed here with Spitfires then Vampires in /1950.
07/1949 to 03/1957, No. 663 Squadron Auster AOP's.
