History:
26/1/44 to 19/9/44, 572nd, 573rd, 574th & 575th Bomb Sqns of the 391st BG with B-26 Marauders.
First mission flown 15/2/44, 20 Marauders were lost in action from this Station before the unit moved to France.
IX Troop Carrier Command C-47s here briefly in late 1944.
Late 1944 to 15/10/45 transferred to 38 Group and the Operational & Refresher Training Unit moved here with Stirlings then Halifaxes.
4/45 to 10/45 No 1677 Target Towing Flight with Martinets.
