12/42 to 10/43, No 3 Air Gunnery School moved here from Castle Kennedy with Bothas, later Ansons. Moved back to Castle Kennedy.
15/11/43 to 14/6/45, No 8 (Observers) Advanced Flying Unit formed here with Ansons.
1951, Airfield re-opened as a Relief Landing Ground for Valley.
