with Martinet, Oxford, Tomahawk and Wellingtons. Finningley's Bomber Command
Instructors School continued to use the airfield until 1946./11/1946 to /06/1948, RAF Flying Training Command, airfield then closed. /08/1952 to /05/1958, Reopened when No. 211 Advanced Flying School formed here with Meteors, /06/1954 renamed No. 211 Flying Training School, /06/1956 became No. 4 Flying Training School with Provost and Vampires. /05/1955 to /03/1957, No. 616 Auxiliary Squadron here with Meteors. |
